Double Layer Crumb Cake
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- ½ yogurt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 tbs. ground cinnamon
- 2 tbs. cocoa powder
- ½ cup butter
- 4-5 chocolate chip cookies

Instructions
- Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
- In a mix-master combine the sugars, vanilla and the butter and cream. Add the eggs and continue to cream.
- In a bowl combine the milk and the yogurt and mix with a fork.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly add to the mix-master alternating with the milk mixture.
- Add all of the ingredients for the crumb mixture in a food processor and process until crumbs are formed.
- Prepare a baking pan with butter.
- Place half of the batter in the prepared pan and then a cover with half of the crumb mixture. Cover with the remaining batter and cover the top with the crumb mixture.
- Bake 45-50 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
