Delicious easy no-bake chocolate cheesecake that takes only 8 minutes to be ready. If you’re a fan of dessert recipes or chocolate, this one is for you.
Ingredients
- 1 packaged graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package(8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 package(3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cups HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Place chocolate chips in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted when stirred. Set aside to cool.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and butter in large bowl on medium speed of mixer until creamy. Gradually add melted chips, beating on low speed until blended. Fold in whipped topping until blended; spoon into crust.
- Refrigerate until firm. Garnish as desired. Cover; refrigerate leftover cheesecake. About 8 servings.

How do you keep the cream cheese from flying out when using the mixer? I’m a beginner & was using a hand mixer. I made a cheese cake before, but the eggs seemed to help with keeping stuff from flying out.
It’s a not so well kept secret. If you let the cream cheese set out, and get to room temperature, it will cream up nicely. It will also stay put in your mixer and not go everywhere.
Great! Thanks. I’m sure my wife would prefer most of the food stay in the bowl rather than on the wall. 🙂
is this 1.5 cups of chocolate? Also- add any butter to the crust to hold it or not?
Yes, 1.5 cups of chocolate chips. And no need for butter in the crust if you are using a premade one (what the recipe calls for). If you are going to be making a crust using graham crackers yourself, you will need some better for the crust.
I’m in Australia, and can’t get the frozen whipped topping, could I substitute with 2 cups of whipped cream do you think? Would it turn out the same?
It would come out the same. The whipped topping is more of an American thing.
I was wondering the same thing, but only because I hate the frozen whipped topping (which shall not be named)
I personally like that nameless product, whipped cream is very yummy too. That is the good thing about options.
