Cilantro Lime Skirt Steak
- 3 lbs. Skirt Steak
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- Juice of 3 Limes
- 5 tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- Begin by adding chopped cilantro, squeeze of lime, soy sauce, chopped garlic, and spices to a large ziploc bag. Now add in the steak.
- Refrigerate and marinate for at least a couple of hours. During the marinating time, shake the bag at least a few times to allow marinade to get to every spot on the meat.
- Preheat the grill on high heat, before adding the steak lower flame to medium high and place steak onto grill. Grilled on each side until you get it to a nice medium-rare. If you like it medium well or well done close the grill cover over and allow the steak to grill for longer.
- Remove the steak from the grill and allow it to rest for about 2-5 minutes. Resting meat allows flavor to lock in. Slice the steak and serve over a bed of Mexican rice with a side of greens.
